Ground state and fission properties of even-A uranium isotopes from multidimensionally-constrained relativistic mean field model

The multidimensionally-constrained covariant density functional theories (MDC-CDFTs) have been developed to study the influence of octupole and triaxial deformations on ground state fission properties. In this paper, we present a brief review applications MDC-CDFTs discuss results systematical even-[Formula: see text] uranium isotopes with relativistic mean field (MDC-RMF) model which is one pairing correlations treated by using Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) approach. We examine in detail two-dimensional potential energy surfaces [Formula: these U properties as well third fourth minima surfaces. emphasis put effects deformations.
